MEDIA ADVISORY
MANCHESTER, KY. ---(August 8, 2007)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces construction has begun on US 25E in Pineville between MPS 13.100 & 14.500 (Jct. of KY 66).
Southbound lanes are closed and traffic is routed onto the Northbound lane which is serving two-way traffic through this intersection. Upon completion of milling operations, traffic will be routed onto the Southbound lanes for construction in the Northbound lanes.
Pine Street is closed at the Jct. of US 25E and will remain closed during construction. Motorists must use alternate routes to enter the city of Pineville.
This area is a double fine zone with the speed limit reduced to 35 MPH.
Duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. This project is expected to be complete by November, 2007
EXPECT DELAYS AND WATCH FOR SLOWED/STOPPED TRAFFIC
