TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Nighttime delays possible at US 460-Mountain Parkway intersection in Salyersville
JACKSON, KY. – (June 29, 2006) -- Due to excavation at a private development near the US 460-Mountain Parkway intersection in Salyersville, motorists can expect possible brief traffic delays between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. due to equipment crossing the roadway.
Flaggers are being used to stop traffic while debris from the excavation is transported across the highway. This work is taking place during nighttime hours, so drivers should be especially alert and vigilant in this area.
The work is expected to continue for the next two weeks. Affected routes are US 460 east and west, and traffic approaching US 460 at the eastern terminus of the Mountain Parkway.
