KY 1261 in Wolfe County to be closed for bridge repairs starting Monday, May 4
JACKSON, KY – Beginning Monday, May 4, and continuing for seven days, KY 1261 in Wolfe County will be closed for bridge repairs.
The closure is at the Stillwater Creek crossing at milepoint 7.7, near the route’s intersection with KY 1812 at Landsaw.
During the week-long closure, the bridge’s deck will be repaired. Inclement weather during this period will force the closure to be extended as required to complete the work.
No marked detour will be posted, but motorists can use KY 15 and KY 1812 as alternate routes.
