Estill County Courthouse closed until Aug. 5 due to bedbugs
FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Estill County Courthouse will be closed until Wednesday, Aug. 5, due to bedbugs. The courthouse is being sprayed to address the problem and will reopen with normal business hours on Aug. 5.
The courthouse has been closed since the Estill County Health Department determined that there were bedbugs in parts of the building on July 25. The health department inspected the courthouse for bedbugs after finding them in the local jail, which is attached to the courthouse.
The entire courthouse has been sprayed for the bugs and will be sprayed again early next week.
