Chief Justice Minton to testify before House Budget Review Subcommittee on Justice and Judiciary Feb. 7, 2012
FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Chief Justice of Kentucky John D. Minton Jr. is scheduled to testify before the House Budget Review Subcommittee on Justice and Judiciary on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. The meeting will take place at noon EST in Room 125 of the Capitol Annex in Frankfort. The meeting is open to the public and the media.
Chief Justice Minton will provide an overview of the Judicial Branch’s budget recommendation for Fiscal Years 2012-2014.
The chief justice is the administrative head of the state court system and is responsible for overseeing its operation. Chief Justice Minton was sworn in as Kentucky’s fifth chief justice in June 2008.
