Artists from across the state selected to perform at the Kentucky Experience Pavilion
FRANKFORT, Ky. — Guests from around the world will be entertained by some of Kentucky's best performing artists and community and school groups as they visit the Kentucky Experience Pavilion, presented by Fifth Third Bank at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™, at the Kentucky Horse Park Sept. 25 to Oct. 10, 2010. The 109 performing artists and groups selected are from all regions of Kentucky and include choral groups, orchestra groups, bands, solo performers, duos and trios, storytellers and theater troupes.

This directory includes Kentucky performing artists who were selected by an independent panel of arts professionals for artistic excellence and performance experience. The application and selection process was coordinated by the Kentucky Arts Council. Artists selected for the directory are also available for bookings for other performances at venues across Kentucky.
The schedule of performances at the Kentucky Experience Pavilion stage will be announced and posted online in late August.
The Kentucky Experience Pavilion, produced by the Kentucky Department of Travel, is a marketplace and showcase that will exhibit Kentucky’s rich culture including performing arts, fine art and craft, Kentucky Proud products and statewide travel destinations.

The 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games are the world championships of eight equestrian disciplines recognized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein of Jordan is the current president of the FEI. The Games are held every four years and this will be the first occurrence in the United States.
