Kentucky Arts Council to meet in Hindman
FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky Arts Council third quarter board meeting will be Sept. 25 at noon at the Kentucky School of Craft, 58 Education Lane, Hindman. Kentucky Arts Council board meetings are open to the public.
Kentucky Arts Council board members are: Mary Michael Corbett, chair, Louisville; Everett D. McCorvey, vice chair, Lexington; Wilma Brown, Danville; Jo Hern Curris, Lexington; Paul Fourshee, Cadiz; Lacy Hale, Ermine; John S. Hockensmith, Georgetown; Ronald Johnson, Fort Mitchell; Todd P. Lowe, Louisville; Darlene Mazzone, Paducah; Helen Mountjoy, Utica; Josephine Richardson, Whitesburg; Andee Rudloff, Bowling Green; Kathy Setterman, Ashland; Randall C. Vaughn, Lexington; and Jayne Moore Waldrop, Lexington.
The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, fosters environments for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts. The arts council, along with the NEA, is celebrating 50 years of service in 2015, which the arts council is recognizing as the Year of the Arts in Kentucky.
