Sponsorship opportunities available for Kentucky’s second annual Creative Industry Summit
FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky Arts Council has several sponsorship opportunities available for its forthcoming Creative Industry Summit, Nov. 12-13 at the Owensboro Convention Center.
The format has expanded from one to two days, adding a day of pre-summit workshops on Nov. 12 before the main summit on Nov. 13.
The summit’s goal is to strengthen the creative industry’s profile among local and state civic and business leaders in Kentucky. It also will provide learning and networking opportunities to industry stakeholders, technical assistance and resource providers, and community and economic developers. The event will include a report on the progress and growth of Kentucky’s creative industry since the Kentucky Creative Industry Report was released in December 2014.
“We are expecting at least 200 participants from across the state at this second annual event, so sponsor visibility will be high,” said Lori Meadows, arts council executive director. “These are individuals who are leaders in their communities and will carry ideas back to where they live. Any summit sponsor would have the eyes and ears of the event participants.”

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, fosters environments for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts. The arts council, along with the NEA, is celebrating 50 years of service in 2015, which the arts council is recognizing as the Year of the Arts in Kentucky.
