KHEAA offering free webinars for ILP training
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 9, 2015) — Adult students and educators at Kentucky private and home schools can attend free Individual Learning Plan (ILP) webinars sponsored by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) and Career Cruising.
The webinars will be held in January and February.
KHEAA is the state agency that administers the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES), need-based grants and other programs to help students pay their higher education expenses. KHEAA partners with Career Cruising to provide ILPs to private schools, home schools and adult students. Career Cruising provides the ILP that the state uses in all public schools.
The webinars will provide information about the ILP from a student’s perspective and an educator’s perspective. They will be held:
· Student’s perspective, Tuesday, Jan. 13, noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time, and Thursday, Feb. 12, 4 to 5 p.m. Eastern time.
· Educator’s perspective, Thursday, Jan. 15, 4 to 5 p.m. Eastern time, and Wednesday, Feb. 18, noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time.
