BEREA, Ky. (September 30, 2004) -- On Wednesday, October 27, a review panel will meet at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea to review applications and products submitted by non-juried artisans. The Center sells primarily the work of Kentucky artisans who have been juried into the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, the Kentucky Guild of Artists & Craftsmen, and the Southern Highland Craft Guild, but several times a year it holds review sessions to consider adding new works that are of excellent quality and are different from items or products already carried.

Kentucky Artisans who might be interested in having their work considered should call the Kentucky Artisan Center at 859/ 985-5448 to request an Artisan Product Application. This form should be submitted to the Center along with images, and descriptive information by October 18 in order to be considered during the October 27 review.

The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is located just off Interstate 75 at exit 77 (Berea). The Center’s exhibits, shopping, and travel information areas are all open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the café from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
