Kentucky artists are invited to submit entries for the exhibit “It Takes Two: Collaborations by Kentucky Artisans” to be held Sept. 19, 2015 through Feb. 27, 2016 at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.

Each year the Kentucky Artisan Center develops and presents several special exhibits to showcase works by Kentucky artisans. These exhibits focus on a specific medium, theme, technique, or subject and often include artists and works not regularly on display at the center.

The center’s “It Takes Two” exhibit will showcase works created by Kentucky artists working together. Collaboration can result in exciting new work as each artist brings his or her own skills and aesthetics to the process. Pieces submitted for this exhibit can be two- or three-dimensional and can be created by two artists working in the same medium or by two artists working in different media. Artists will be asked to detail their specific contributions to the finished work.

Information about the exhibit and an entry form are on the Artisan Opportunities page of the center’s website at  You can also request an entry form and prospectus by mail at: Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea, Attn: “It Takes Two”, 200 Artisan Way, Berea, KY 40403 or by calling 859-985-5448.
