FRANKFORT, Ky. Anglers can learn more about Cave Run Lake’s fish habitat project, get the latest survey reports, and gain a better understanding of how these relate to the lake’s bass management strategy during a public meeting being held Nov. 18 in Morehead.

Cave Run Lake, which is located just west of Morehead, has a major project underway to improve fishing by increasing the amount of habitat available for fish. Creel surveys of Cave Run Lake anglers conducted this year gave fisheries managers with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources valuable input about managing the lake for black bass and other sportfish.

The public meeting will feature updates on these issues for anglers and anyone who enjoys the lake.

The meeting will be held from 7-9 p.m. (Eastern time) at the Morehead Conference Center, located at 111 East First St.
