Governor Beshear Appoints Circuit Judge
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Steve Beshear today announced the following judicial appointment to serve until the general election on Nov. 8, 2011.
Gov. Beshear has appointed the Honorable Paul K. Winchester to the office of Circuit Judge for the 34th Judicial Circuit, Division 2, consisting of McCreary and Whitley counties.
- Paul K. Winchester, of Corbin, has most recently served as the first assistant for the 34th Judicial District Commonwealth’s Attorney. He received his Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky. The appointment fills the vacancy created by the passing of the Honorable Paul E. Bracken.
