Governor Beshear makes appointments to Boards and Commissions
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Steve Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:
Gov. Beshear has appointed Catherine R. Hanna as a member of the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy effective Jan. 2, 2011.
- Catherine R. Hanna, of Lexington, is the vice president of Professional Affairs for American Pharmacy Services Corporation. The appointment replaces Anne Policastri, whose term has expired. Hanna shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2015.
Gov. Beshear has appointed the following members to the Endow Kentucky Commission to serve for terms expiring Sept. 30, 2012.
- Michael J. Hammons, of Park Hills, is a non profit executive for the Kentucky Philanthropy Initiative. He represents the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
- Sharon Receveur, of Louisville, is retired. She represents the Community Foundation of Louisville.
- Wynn L. Radford III, of Hopkinsville, is an insurance agent at Higgins Insurance. He represents the Community Foundation of Christian, Todd and Trigg Counties.
- Buckner Woodford IV, of Paris, is a retired banker. He represents the Bluegrass Community Foundation.
- Anthony “Tony” Watkins, of Benton, is the chief executive officer for the Community Foundation of Western Kentucky. He represents the Community Foundation of Western Kentucky.
- Michael W. Hobbs, of Ashland, is an attorney at McKenzie, Woolery & Webb. He represents the Tri-State Community Foundation.
- Jiten Shah, of Owensboro, is the executive director of the Green River Area Development District. He represents the Green River Area Development District.
- Gerry F. Roll, of Busy, is the executive director of the Community Foundation of Hazard/Perry County. She represents citizen members.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Terry E. Forcht as a member of the Kentucky Economic Development Partnership Board to serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2014.
- Terry E. Forcht, of Corbin, is the chairman and chief executive officer of the Forcht Group of Kentucky, Inc. He represents the Fifth Congressional District and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. The appointment replaces Nelda Barton-Collings, whose term has expired.
The governor has reappointed William T. “Bill” Robinson III to the board to serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2014.
- William T. “Bill” Robinson, of Erlanger, is an attorney at Frost, Brown, Todd LLC. He represents the Fourth Congressional District and the Associated Industries of Kentucky.
