FRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Steve Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

Gov. Beshear has appointed the following members to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Center for the Arts to serve for terms expiring April 29, 2014.

  • Chenault “Ceci” Conway Boden, of Louisville, is a self-employed marketing consultant.  The appointment replaces Lee Schusterman, whose term has expired.
     
  • Daniel E. Woodside, of Louisville, is president and chief executive officer of Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op LLC.  The appointment replaces Bruce W. Ferguson, whose term has expired.
     
  • Mary R. Nixon, of Louisville, is an executive for Yum! Brands Inc.  The appointment replaces Raymond K. Guillaume, whose term has expired. 
     
  • Marion C. Forcht, of Corbin, works for Forcht Insurance Agency Inc.  The appointment replaces Edward C. Glasscock, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has appointed the following members to the State Board of Accountancy to serve for terms expiring June 30, 2014.

  • G. Alan Long, of Richmond, is CPA with Baldwin CPAs PLLC .  The appointment replaces John H. Hawkins, whose term has expired.
     
  • Daniel L. Fulks, of Harrodsburg, is a professor at Transylvania University.  The appointment replaces Sharon T. Walters, whose term has expired.

Gov. Beshear has reappointed Lanny Dale Greer to the State Fair Board to serve for a term expiring July 15, 2014.

  • Lanny Dale Greer, of East Bernstadt, is president of First National Bank of Manchester.  He represents the state at-large.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Tommy Chandler to the Kentucky State Board on Electric Generation and Transmission Siting.

  • Tommy Chandler, of Providence, is a retired lawyer and judge.  He represents residents of Webster County.

Gov. Beshear has appointed Bobby D. Patrick as Magistrate for the First District of Powell County to serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending Nov. 2, 2010.

  • Bobby D. Patrick, of Clay City, is an auto body repair technician at Patrick’s Collision Center.  The appointment replaces Bobby Ginter, who is deceased.
