Governor Beshear Appoints Members to Kentucky Assistive Technology Loan Corporation Board of Directors
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Steve Beshear has appointed the following members to the Kentucky Assistive Technology Loan Corporation Board of Directors:
- Sheila Seubold Levy, of Louisville, is an attorney at Hebel & Hornung. She represents attorneys with lending experience. The appointment replaces Michael C. Surrey, whose term has expired. Levy shall serve for a term expiring Feb. 25, 2012.
- Sandra L. Williams, of Louisville, is an independent living counselor for the Kentucky Office for the Blind. She represents public members. The appointment replaces Jessica L. Hunt, who has moved out of state. Williams shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending Feb. 25, 2009.
- Jerry Wheatley, of Louisville, is a self-employed builder. He previously was employed as an information specialist for the Kentucky Assistive Technology Services Network. Wheatley represents public members. The appointment replaces Gayle D. Williams, who has resigned. Wheatley shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending Feb. 25, 2010.
The Kentucky Assistive Technology Loan Corporation is a program funded by both private and public money to help Kentuckians with disabilities obtain assistive technology to improve their independence or quality of life. The corporation is managed by a seven member board of directors.
