Wednesday, May 13, 2009 The Kentucky Division of Forestry is currently accepting grant applications for the 2009 Kentucky Firewise Community cost-share grant program. The program supports communities, counties and organizations in fire-prone areas known as the wildland/urban interface and the funding is to be used for projects that protect people, property and natural resources from the risk of wildfire.
