FRANKFORT, Ky.— A subcommittee of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Public Employees Retirement Systems that is studying the funding of liabilities for the retirement systems will meet on Monday, December 3, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. EST in Room 171 of the Capitol Annex. The meeting is open to the public.

This working group, entitled “Defining a strategy to fulfill our commitments to existing employees and retirees,” is chaired by Finance and Administration Cabinet Secretary Mike Burnside. Members of the committee are: Stan Cave, State Budget Director; Jack Adams, Kentucky State Police; Ronnie O’Nan, Kentucky Transportation Employees Association; and gubernatorial appointees David Dowell, John Hall, Andrew Jacobs, Todd Lowe, Shawn Ridley and Deborah Tudor.
