Proprietary Education Board to host public meeting for Decker College students
FRANKFORT, Ky.—In response to the recent closure of Decker College in Louisville, the Kentucky State Board for Proprietary Education has scheduled a public meeting on November 2 at 9:30 a.m. for students who were actively enrolled at Decker College as of June 30, 2005. The meeting is intended to assist students with unanswered questions, unfulfilled contracts, unfinished courses of instruction and uncertainty as to what action they need to take.
This meeting will be held in room L15 at the International Conference Center, 221 Fourth Street, downtown Louisville. The following area colleges will be present at the meeting to review the needs of students and assist in placement in a program to accommodate their needs and complete their coursework:
· Spencerian College, Louisville
· Brown Mackie College, Louisville
· New Horizons Computer Learning Center, Louisville
· ITT Technical, Louisville
· Daymar College, Louisville
· Sullivan University, Louisville
· Louisville Tech
· Jefferson Community and Technical College
· St. Catharine College, St. Catharine, KY
· ATA Career Education
Students are encouraged to bring copies of their Decker College transcript, enrollment form, any financial aid forms, any signed contracts and a copy of the Decker College catalogue.
