FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Finance and Administration Cabinet’s Division of Surplus Property will conduct a live auction on Friday, April 16, 2004 of the property and contents of the State Office Building and Annex located at 501 High Street in Frankfort. The building, former home of the Transportation Cabinet offices, contains 11 floors of office furniture, including desks, chairs, filing cabinets, map files, auditorium seats, wood desks and furniture, framed prints and kitchen equipment.
Auction preview, pre-registration and sale dates are as follows:

Wednesday, April 14, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Preview/pre-registration--
Thursday, April 15, 9:00 a.m.-to 4:00 p.m.
- Auction--
Friday, April 16. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. Auction begins at 9:00 a.m.
The live auction will be held in the new Transportation Cabinet Building auditorium, located at 200 Mero Street in Frankfort, across the street from the State Office Building.
Items will be available for preview on the dates listed above. No bidders will be allowed to enter the State Office Building to view items on the day of the auction. As the winning bidders pay for their items, a load-out time will need to be scheduled. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to remove ALL of their items from the building. All property must be out of the building no later than May 1, 2004.
