FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 30, 2004)- The Kentucky Horse Racing Authority will convene for an orientation luncheon and meeting on Thursday, Feb. 5 at noon at the Covered Arena Building at the Kentucky Horse Park, 4089 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, Ky.

Following the administration of the oath of office to the members, Gov. Ernie Fletcher will address the Authority. Background briefings will then be conducted, including:

-Overview by Jesse Skees, Acting Executive Director
-Remarks by Sec. Jim Host, Commerce Cabinet
-Ethics presentation by Ms. Jill LeMaster, Executive Director, Executive Branch
 Ethics Commission

Other agenda items may be added prior to the meeting. The meeting will be open to the public, with lunch available for Authority members, presenters and staff required to attend the meeting.
