FRANKFORT, KY. (April 15, 2005) – Earth Day celebrations throughout Kentucky will be in full swing next week beginning with an all-day event at John James Audubon State Park, near Henderson, on Tuesday, April 19.  

Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet Secretary LaJuana S. Wilcher is scheduled to speak at 3:30 p.m.  “Earth Day at Audubon” will include various exhibits and demonstrations on topics such as recycling, composting and wildlife education.
