SPECIALIZED SEARCH & RESCUE TRAINING IN OWENSBORO KY
FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 8, 2012) - The Commonwealth of Kentucky Emergency Management (KYEM) is hosting the upcoming District Search and Rescue School scheduled for March 10-11, 2012 at Daymar College, 3361 Buckland Square, Owensboro KY. The weekend’s training activities will also be hosted in part by Daviess County Emergency Management.
KYEM and its training partners are offering the following four (4) highly specialized search and rescue training courses: Lost Person Behavior; Mantracking; Search in the Urban Environment; and, Drowning Reconstruction.
In keeping with the vision of John W. Heltzel, Director of Kentucky Emergency Management, KYEM continues to build and work toward a world-class search and rescue program to benefit the citizens of Kentucky and its sister states. This first of four planned district search and rescue schools is another step and prime example of the quality training being offered all across the Commonwealth!
