    Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Andrea Collins to assistant supervisor of District 20 in Somerset. District 20 has two field offices in Monticello and Williamsburg and covers eight counties including Clinton, Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne and Whitley. Collins will assume her new duties Feb. 1.

    Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Heather Meredith to assistant supervisor of District 5 in Elizabethtown. District 5 has two field offices in Shepherdsville and Leitchfield and covers six counties including Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Hart and Meade. Meredith will assume her new duties Feb. 1.

The eastern region consists of five supervisory districts with offices in Catlettsburg, London, Mt. Sterling, Newport and Prestonsburg. Davidson assumed his new duties on Jan. 1.

    The Kentucky Department of Corrections has created a blog on the Corrections Home page to enable employees that are deployed on active duty to stay connected with friends and family back home. The blog will allow DOC employees, as well as other friends and family, the opportunity to leave words of encouragement and appreciation for our staff who are serving in the military.

District 9 covers Fayette County and has a total of 38 officers and investigators and supervises approximately 2800 offenders. Gausepohl will assume his new duties on Sept. 1.
