Wednesday, May 02, 2012 The Kentucky State Penitentiary is proud to announce the completion of the penitentiary’s new museum. The public is invited to attend the grand opening ceremonies on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. CST.
- Sabrina Farris Promoted to District 18 Assistant Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Tuesday, April 03, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Sabrina Farris to assistant supervisor of District 18 in Louisville. District 18 is one of four supervision districts in Jefferson County. Farris assumed her new duties April 1.
- Chip McIntyre Promoted to Assistant Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Tuesday, April 03, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced that Chip McIntyre was promoted to assistant supervisor of District 13 in Owensboro. District 13 has three field offices in Greenville, Henderson and Morganfield and covers nine counties including Crittenden, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Muhlenburg, Ohio, Union and Webster. McIntyre assumed his new duties April 1.
- Paula Holden Promoted to Deputy Commissioner of Community Services
Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Commissioner LaDonna Thompson today announced the promotion of Paula Foree Holden to Deputy Commissioner of Community Services. A 30-year veteran of the Department, Holden’s promotion is effective immediately. In her new role, she will oversee DOC's Probation & Parole Division and Local Facilities.
- Cedric Coleman Promoted to Systems Consultant in Information Technology Branch
Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kim Potter-Blair today announced the promotion of Cedric Coleman to Systems Consultant in the Information Technology Branch. Coleman assumed his new duties on February 16.
- Brian McGuire Promoted to Administrative Section Supervisor in Property Section
Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kim Potter-Blair today announced the promotion of Brian McGuire to Administrative Section Supervisor of the Property Section. McGuire assumed his new duties on March 16.
- Pat Sudduth Promoted to Administrative Branch Manager in Fiscal Branch
Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kim Potter-Blair today announced the promotion of Pat Sudduth to administrative branch manager of the Fiscal Branch. Sudduth assumed her new duties on March 16.
- Ken Burnett Promoted to District 10 Assistant Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Tuesday, March 13, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Ken Burnett to assistant supervisor of District 10 in London. District 10 has three field offices in Harlan, Manchester and Pineville and covers seven counties including Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Laurel and Leslie. Burnett will assume his new duties on March 16.
- West Liberty Prison Undamaged by Tornado
Tuesday, March 06, 2012 The tornado that hit West Liberty Friday did not damage the medium-security prison in the tiny community.
Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex (EKCC) sits on a hill just a mile and a half from the devastation along the town’s main street. The Morgan County prison is without electricity, operating on generators, and only has intermittent phone service but the inmate population is safe and secure, said Warden Gary Beckstrom.
- David Rupard Promoted to District 8 Supervisor in Division of Probation and Parole
Thursday, March 01, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation and Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of David Rupard to supervisor of District 8 in Mount Sterling. District 8 has four field offices, in Campton, Irvine, Morehead and Richmond, and comprises the 12 counties of Bath, Breathitt, Clark, Estill, Lee, Madison, Menifee, Montgomery, Owsley, Powell, Rowan and Wolfe. Rupard assumed his new duties today.
- Rebecca Palmer Promoted to District 15 Assistant Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Wednesday, February 15, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Rebecca Palmer to assistant supervisor of District 15 in Catlettsburg. District 15 has two field offices in Maysville and Paintsville and covers 12 counties including Boyd, Bracken, Carter, Elliott, Fleming, Greenup, Johnson, Lawrence, Lewis, Martin, Mason and Morgan. Palmer will assume her new duties on Feb. 16.
- Cheri Kraus Promoted to Branch Manager with Correctional Industries
Friday, February 10, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner James Erwin today announced the promotion of Cheri Kraus to branch manager at Kentucky Correctional Industries (KCI). Kraus will now oversee the KCI operations at Luther Luckett Correctional Complex (LLCC) and Kentucky Correctional Institutional for Women (KCIW).
- Glenn R. Hance Promoted to Administrative Branch Manager in Division of Corrections Training
Friday, February 10, 2012 Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kim Potter-Blair today announced the promotion of Glenn R. Hance to administrative branch manager for the Division of Corrections Training. He will oversee the Eastern Region Training Center (ERTC) in Sandy Hook. Hance assumed his new duties on Jan. 1.
- Andrea Collins Promoted to District 20 Assistant Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Friday, January 20, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Andrea Collins to assistant supervisor of District 20 in Somerset. District 20 has two field offices in Monticello and Williamsburg and covers eight counties including Clinton, Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne and Whitley. Collins will assume her new duties Feb. 1.
- Heather Meredith Promoted to District 5 Assistant Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Friday, January 20, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Heather Meredith to assistant supervisor of District 5 in Elizabethtown. District 5 has two field offices in Shepherdsville and Leitchfield and covers six counties including Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Hart and Meade. Meredith will assume her new duties Feb. 1.
- Kerry Mears Promoted to District 19 Assistant Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Wednesday, January 18, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Kerry Mears to assistant supervisor of District 19 in Louisville. District 19 is one of four supervision districts in Jefferson County. Mears assumed her new duties Jan. 16.

Wednesday, January 18, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Kristin Harrod to assistant supervisor of District 18 in Louisville. District 18 is one of four supervision districts in Jefferson County. Harrod assumed her new duties Jan. 16.

Tuesday, January 10, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner James Erwin today announced the promotion of Tiffany Ratliff to Deputy Warden at Luther Luckett Correctional Complex (LLCC) in LaGrange.
- Jason Hardwick Promoted to District 20 Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole
Friday, January 06, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Jason Hardwick to supervisor of District 20 in Somerset. District 20 encompasses eight counties including Clinton, Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne and Whitley.
- Mark Davidson Promoted to Eastern Region Branch Manager for the Division of Probation & Parole
Friday, January 06, 2012 Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Mark Davidson to the position of Administrative Branch Manager of the eastern region for the Division of Probation and Parole. The eastern region consists of five supervisory districts with offices in Catlettsburg, London, Mt. Sterling, Newport and Prestonsburg. Davidson assumed his new duties on Jan. 1.
- Terrell Named DOC Information Systems Manager
Thursday, December 22, 2011 Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kimberly Potter-Blair today announced that Terry A. Terrell has been hired as the Information Systems Manager for the Department. Terrell assumed his new duties on December 1.
