Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Robert Shane Caudill to assistant supervisor of District 14 in Versailles. District 14 covers ten counties including Bourbon, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Nicholas, Pendleton, Robertson, Scott and Woodford. Caudill assumed his new duties on Nov. 1.
“Shane has a proven record of versatility and integrity that is needed for a position of leadership,” Carman said. “We have every confidence that he will be a great asset to the division and department and are pleased at being able to add him to the leadership team.”
Caudill served 5 years in the United States Air Force. He obtained the rank of staff sergeant and served as a crew chief of an F-15 fighter jet. Upon leaving the military, he continued his education at Eastern Kentucky University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
