Diana Eads Promoted to Personnel Branch Manager
Kentucky Department of Corrections Division of Personnel Services Assistant Director Bobbie Underwood today announced the promotion of Diana Eads to branch manager for the department’s personnel services branch. She assumed her new duties Nov. 16.
“I have worked with Diana for many years and it is wonderful to see her promoted after all of her hard work and dedication to the department,” said Underwood. “She is extremely knowledgeable in state personnel practices and a valuable asset to our division.”
Eads began her career in the Department of Corrections in 1997 in the Division of Probation & Parole. She promoted to administrative specialist in 2001 where she was responsible for Probation & Parole personnel and administrative functions. In 2011, after a short stint in the Division of Local Facilities, she promoted to human resource administrator, institutional, for the Division of Probation & Parole. She ultimately transferred to the Division of Personnel Services in 2012 as a human resource specialist III. In 2013, she was reclassified to the position of human resource administrator.
Eads is a member of the Kentucky chapter of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources and was selected to participate in various pilot programs during the state’s transition to the new personnel system, KHRIS.
