Proposals Sought for Lodging Facility at Wasioto Winds Golf Course in Bell County

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet today issued a request for proposal (RFP) seeking a developer-operator for a lodging facility at Wasioto Winds Golf Course in Bell County.


The golf course is located along U.S. 25E in Pineville and is part of Pine Mountain State Resort Park.  The successful bidder would have the option of managing the 18-hole golf course. The existing lodge at the park will continue operations.


The project could be eligible for state tourism incentives through the state Tourism Development Finance Authority. The incentive is a tax rebate of up to 50 percent of the investment amount over a 10-year period.


This initiative has the support of Pineville officials.
