FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 19, 2004) - A series of workshops are being held around the state in March and April to help grandparents and families learn about issues related to raising children.
The “Grandparents Raising Grandchildren” conferences provide information about guardianship, visitation, custody, and public benefit programs.
The workshops are sponsored by the state Office of Aging Services’ Kentucky KinCare Project, which assists grandparent caregivers and participating area development districts.
The March sessions are:
