| Marine Lance Corporal Sean M. Langley to be laid to rest Tuesday
Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher and First Lady Glenna Fletcher will attend funeral services for Marine Lance Corporal Sean M. Langley tomorrow. The services are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington.
“Glenna and I want to pay tribute to this brave young man who paid the ultimate sacrifice for us while fighting in Iraq,” said Governor Ernie Fletcher. “Our attendance tomorrow represents the deep gratitude and honor felt by all Kentuckians toward this heroic young man. Lance Corporal Langley was a true American hero. We extend our deepest sympathies to Lance Corporal Langley’s family during this difficult time.
Lance Cpl. Sean M. Langley was the 15th service member from Kentucky to die in Iraq. He was a member of the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Pendleton, California.
