Governor Ernie Fletcher makes appointment to the Kentucky Horse Park Commission
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Oscar C. House, of London, to the Kentucky Horse Park Commission.
House is a retired internal policy analyst and administrative hearing officer for the former Cabinet for Families and Children. He is a graduate of Cumberland College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in education. House is a current member of the Central Kentucky Racking Horse Association and the Racking Horse Breeders Association, where he served as the National President and as a member of the National Board of Directors from Kentucky. He is married to Glenna House.
The Kentucky Horse Park Commission is made up of 15 gubernatorial appointees. The Kentucky Horse Park Commission is charged with providing broad management expertise and direction in the operation of the Kentucky Horse Park as well as representing the diverse interests of the Kentucky horse industry.
