Bowling Green Man Indicted on Child Pornography Charges
Attorney General Jack Conway and his Cybercrimes Unit today announced the indictment of a Bowling Green man accused of distributing and possessing child pornography. A Warren County grand jury indicted 48-year-old Terry Wayne Henderson May 5, 2010 on 32 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and three counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. All are Class D felony charges.
Henderson was arrested on April 7, 2010 following a joint investigation between General Conway's Cybercrimes Unit and the Bowling Green Police Department. The investigation of Henderson began on February 8, 2010 after an investigator in the Attorney General's Cybercrimes Unit identified an Internet address in Bowling Green suspected of distributing child pornographic images. The case was then referred to Bowling Green Police. Both agencies are members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).
Prosecution of this case is being handled by the office of Warren County Commonwealth's Attorney Chris Cohron.
Since its creation in June 2008, General Conway's Cybercrimes Unit has seized more than 68,000 child pornographic images and videos from the Internet and investigated more than 100 child pornography cases.
A charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
