Attorney General Jack Conway today announced the arrest of a Woodford County man for possession of child pornography. Johnny H. Todd, 38, is charged with four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance of a minor, a Class D felony.

Investigators from General Conway's Cybercrimes Unit, with assistance from Versailles Police, arrested Todd after executing a search warrant at his Versailles home. He is currently lodged in the Woodford County Detention Center. Todd, who served 7.5 months of a one-year sentence for a previous conviction for distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, is a registered sex offender.

Since its creation in June of 2008, Attorney General Conway's Cybercrimes Unit, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, has seized nearly 70,000 child pornographic images from the Internet and investigated more than 100 child pornography cases in Kentucky.

A charge is merely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
