    The Kentucky Registry of Election Finance has appointed John R. Steffen as Executive Director. Steffen currently serves as the Executive Director of the Kentucky Executive Branch Ethics Commission, where he also served as General Counsel from 2004-2008.

    Sarah M. Jackson, former Executive Director of the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, has received the 2014 Outstanding Service Award from the Council on Governmental Ethics Laws (COGEL). The award was announced at COGEL’s 36th annual conference being held in Pittsburgh, PA this week.
  • The Registry of Election Finance is Now Accepting Applications for Executive Director

    The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations and activities of the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, the bi-partisan independent state agency charged under KRS Chapter 121 with the regulation, administration and enforcement of Kentucky’s election finance laws. The Executive Director oversees a staff of eleven (11) full-time employees and one (1) part-time employee. Additional information may be found on the Registry's Employment Opportunites webpage.
  • KENTUCKY REGISTRY OF ELECTION FINANCE RE-ELECTS CHAIRMAN

    At its September 18, 2014 meeting, the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance unanimously re-elected Craig C. Dilger to serve as its chairman, marking an unprecedented eighth consecutive term for the Louisville attorney. His service as chairman marks the longest continuous period of service as chairman in the Registry’s history. His one-year term as chairman will begin on December 17, 2014.
  • KENTUCKY REGISTRY OF ELECTION FINANCE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO RETIRE

    Frankfort, KY, September 18, 2014 – Kentucky Registry of Election Finance board chairman Craig C. Dilger announced at a board meeting held today that executive director Sarah M. Jackson would be retiring effective November 1, 2014. Jackson, 57, who has served as executive director of the agency since 1999, oversees the day-to-day activities of the Registry, the bi-partisan agency charged with enforcing state campaign finance laws.
